Acceptable use

Use the site for what it's built for: playing games, reading and participating in the forum, and using your account normally. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, abuse rate limits, scrape data at scale, or interfere with other users' accounts or games.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for the security of your own account, including keeping your password private. Let us know through the contact form if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Prohibited abuse

Harassment, cheating (including the use of external engines during rated games), creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions, and posting illegal content are all prohibited and may result in account restrictions or termination.

User-generated forum content

You retain ownership of what you post to the forum, but by posting it you grant MindLounge the right to display it publicly as part of the normal operation of the site. You are responsible for your own posts and comments.

Moderation rights

We reserve the right to remove content, hide comments, or restrict accounts that violate these terms or otherwise disrupt the community, at our reasonable discretion.

Service availability

MindLounge is provided on an "as available" basis. As an early-stage, independently developed project, features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or due to factors outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MindLounge is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the site.

Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your own account at any time from your account settings.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the project develops. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
